Lamé Verre is an award-winning Energy Executive and Co-founder of Lean In Equity & Sustainability (LiNES), an independent global gender diversity and inclusion social impact organisation.

With a wealth of knowledge and 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Lamé Verre has traversed the industry value chain in multiple geographies, including the UK, other parts of Europe, the US, and Sub-Saharan Africa, providing a solid foundation of expertise and reassurance to her audience.

Lamé Verre holds pivotal roles in the World Economic Forum, the Global Future Council for Energy Transition, and the Board of Equitable Origin (EO). Her Leadership and influence in these roles are significant and instrumental in fostering transparent, equitable, sustainable energy and natural resource development.

Previously, Lamé served as the Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Sustainability for the FTSE 100 company SSE PLC's customer businesses in the UK and Ireland. In this role, she was instrumental in operationalising net zero in the customer-facing part of the business, thereby promoting customer adoption, sustainable supply chains and strategic partnerships, inspiring and motivating her audience with her commitment to sustainability.

Before that, Lamé was the Director for Renewable Energy and Energy Transition at the UK-based Alaric & Associates, an independent energy consulting firm focused on upstream, midstream and renewable energy sectors. In addition, she co-founded ScanTech International, a service company focused on providing low-carbon pipeline construction and rehabilitation solutions to the energy industry.
