Sara Abd Alla is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy and climate change projects, primarily focusing on decarbonization strategies, climate risk assessments, and sustainable finance. In her work experience, Sara addressed strategies for GHG emissions reduction, energy transition towards renewables and energy efficiency in several sectors (transportation, industry and buildings among others). She is confident with the global power market and the national and international energy & climate regulations. In RINA Consulting, she is the Manager of the Sustainability and Climate Risk operational unit. Previously, Sara has worked with international stakeholders (AFD, World Bank, International Energy Agency) in order to provide technical support to governments of developing countries on energy and climate policies.  In addition, Sara is a Certified Expert in Sustainable Finance and she holds a PhD in Energy Systems Transition Towards Decarbonisation.
