Michael is a seasoned specialist in the NGL/LPG/Ammonia industries, focusing on supply/demand dynamics, commercial strategies, and shipping. 

With a career spanning almost two decades, he has spearheaded numerous global projects, delving into critical areas such as commercial aspects & strategies, supply/demand & shipping analysis, and forecasting of prices and freight rates. 

Michael embarked on his journey in the gas market in 2005 within the Greek shipping industry, gaining invaluable insights into maritime operations. From 2007 to 2017, he honed his expertise at Poten & Partners, initially as an LPG senior consultant and later as the manager of the NGL/LPG consulting and commercial advisory practice. As an NGL/LPG/Ammonia advisor, Michael has played a pivotal role in advising clients on a wide array of topics, including economics, investment valuation, strategic analysis, infrastructure development, due diligence, and marketing strategies. His proficiency extends to crafting comprehensive business plans and strategies tailored to meet the diverse needs of his clientele. 

A native of Greece, Michael holds a BSc in Shipping, Trade, and Transport Economics from the University of the Aegean, complemented by an MSc in Project Analysis, Finance, and Investment from the University of York.  

His expertise is further showcased through his frequent participation as a speaker at various international NGL conferences, contributing insights and thought leadership to industry discussions. Michael is a frequent keynote speaker at several international and regional conferences primarily on the global gas liquid market dynamics and outlook with an emphasis on supply/demand balances, shipping economics and price forecasting. Michael has also moderated and contributed to several panel discussions, leading the discussion about energy transition topics, and sharing his views on the commercial aspects of the global gas liquids and ammonia markets.
