Jason Paterson is a project manager in the Energy Systems Integration team at the Net Zero Technology Centre (NZTC), working to develop technology to deliver an affordable Net Zero energy system. With a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geoscience coupled with over 10 years’ experience in mining and oil & gas, Jason has a breadth of experience which he brings to the NZTC team.
Jason currently works within the Technology Centres Energy System Integration team on Strategic and Growth projects - working to deliver projects across the Offshore Wind, Hydrogen and CCS workstreams. Jason was the key researcher and author on the Integrated Energy Vision project, a project championed by the NZTC and ORE Catapult on behalf of a wide group of stakeholders to develop an aligned vision for the North Sea transition.
