Serena holds a MSc in Energy and Nuclear Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, specialized in Energy Innovation with an experimental research on Thermal Energy Storage materials at University of Birmingham (UK). Completes education with Energy Management Master and obtains License as professional engineer in Italy in 2020. 

Starts working in Technical Sales in 2019 on airfield energy technologies and lands in Hydrogen Business Development & Sales in Snam Hydrogen Business Unit in 2021 as part of a Secondment Program in ITM Power, Sheffield (UK). 

In 2023, joins Linde Engineering in Dresden (DE) as Sales Project Manager with a focus on Electrolysis via PEM technology and Integrated Hydrogen plants.
