Nana Serwaa is a Research Associate at the Youth Sustainable Development Network and a Graduate Student at the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy pursuing a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning and Policy Design. Nana Serwaa aspires to be one of the leading energy voices and researchers, especially for the African Continent. This dedication is reflected in her thesis, which focuses on an Energy Policy of Ghana. In addition, she presented at the Association of European Planning Schools Conference on an energy justice-centred paper, targeting the ban on the importation of semi-used electronic gadgets in Ghana. These come against the backdrop of about a year of experience in an energy-efficiency project conducted in Kumasi, Ghana, and Makhanda, South Africa, and funded by the International Science Council.
