Jocelyne Machevo is a distinguished Mozambican energy professional with extensive expertise
in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry. Throughout her career, Jocelyne has collaborated with
major companies in Mozambique's upstream O&G sector, including Eni, TotalEnergies, and Sasol.
She has held various roles in the Projects department, developing a robust skill set in project
management, business development, asset management, gas and LNG supply contracts,
stakeholder management, local content development, and community development initiatives.
Currently, she is the Commercial & Marketing Manager at Vivo Energy Mozambique, an
international downstream oil company, leveraging her deep industry knowledge and acquiring
new skills in the downstream sector.

Jocelyne's academic credentials are impressive, holding a degree in Civil Engineering and a
Master’s Degree in Economy and Management of Energy and Environment from Eni Corporate
University in Milan, Italy. She further enhanced her leadership capabilities with an Executive
Education Diploma in Women’s Leadership from Said Business School at Oxford University.
Throughout her career, Jocelyne has been presented with several awards and distinctions,
namely, the 2024 Top 50 Mozambican Women leaders, 2024 Tropics Trailblazing Women, 2021
Excellence Award – Women in Oil and Gas Angola by AECIPA , 2019 Power Play Rising Star
Award powered by ExxonMobil, and the 2017 Outstanding Mozambican Woman in Gas & LNG
Award by Mozambique Gas Summit.

A passionate advocate for youth leadership, women's inclusion in the energy sector and
sustainable development of the energy industry, Jocelyne is also a pioneer member of the
Mozambique Women of Energy (MWE), and an international speaker discussing issues around
the development of the energy industry and Women inclusion.
