Xavier is the Strategy Director, in Snam since 2018, investigating long term future of energy scenarios, decarbonisation pathways, innovation and strategy transformation initiatives with focus on energy transition, renewable gases, defining gas infrastructure new role and international expansion.

Before joining Snam, Xavier had more than 10 years professional experience in McKinsey & Company, working in the gas and power sectors focusing on strategy and regulatory projects. As an early promoter of the Cleantech initiative, he supported energy companies in Europe and in emerging markets (ASEAN and LATAM) in defining their energy transition pathway. He has been a senior member of a global network of practitioners focusing on knowledge development on energy and climate change.

Xavier holds a Master’s degree in management engineering from the Politecnico di Milano University.
