Nevin is a co-founder and member of the Implementation Team ofWomen in Energy – Mulheres na Energia Portugal, and a member of the UNDP External Advisory Group for Energy Governance. Since March 2023, she has been a member of the World Energy Council's Global Future Energy Leaders Programme.

A lawyer by trade, she is Vice-Chair of the Distribution Committee at Eurogas and EU Affairs Manager at Floene, the leading gas distribution group in Portugal. In June 2023, she was invited to be one of the 30 European Young Energy Ambassadors as a representative of Portugal. She is part of several initiatives and associations, and in her activity as ambassador, will continue to share information and raise awareness about the European Green Deal, energy transition, and paths to climate neutrality.
