Kasha previously held the position of Deputy Minister of Environment and Protected Areas where she spearheaded the development of Alberta’s Emissions Reduction and Energy Development plan.
Kasha has over 20 years of international leadership experience in governance, finance, and capital markets with special interest in climate risk and investing. She has previously worked with Invest Alberta Corporation and has held key leadership positions within Canadian and international charter banks.
Kasha also has a wide and diverse educational background, having graduated with an international MBA from the Warsaw School of Economics. Kasha also carries several professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP-Canada), Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM), Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI), Certificate in ESG (environmental, social and governance) Investing, and is an active CFA Institute member.
