Fabrizio Botta is Chief Commercial Officer at Saipem, the Italy-based global company providing engineering and construction services for the energy sector.

Born in 1982, Fabrizio Botta holds a master’s degree cum laude in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Palermo. He then completed his studies with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at MIP Graduate School of Business – at the Politecnico di Milano.

In 2007 he started his career at Edison SpA as “Project Mechanical Engineer” in the Engineering Department. He joined Saipem’s family on April 2010, where over the years he has held several positions including, in chronological order: Technical Manager, Proposal Director, Office of the CEO and Chairman and Area Manager of Middle East, based in Abu Dhabi (UAE). Upon his return to Italy, from 2019 to 2021, he held the role of Director of Global Strategy Commercial and Tendering for the Onshore E&C Division. In December 2021 he was named Chief Commercial Officer of Saipem.
