Alex Kerr is a Partner in the London office of Baker Botts. His practice is focused on project development and marketing and trading in the energy sector. On the project development side, Alex advises both governments and sponsors on LNG, hydrogen and cross-border pipeline projects. In terms of marketing and trading, Alex advises clients on agreements for the sale and purchase of LNG, with extensive experience drafting and negotiating long-term agreements supplying LNG to Europe. In addition to LNG, Alex advises on natural gas (pipeline) sales agreements (both long-term and spot), and hydrogen sales agreements. Alex advised on the world’s first ever offtake agreement for green ammonia export.
