Alessandro Spada is an entrepreuneur in the manufacturing sector. He is President of Assolombarda, the largest and most important territorial association of the Confindustria system, representing more than 7000 companies and 425.000 workers in the area of Milan, Monza and Brianza, Lodi and Pavia. He is board member of the Assolombarda Foundation.

He is Corporate Advisor of Chart Industries, Inc., Vice President and board member of VRV Group (IMB - Industrie Meccaniche di Bagnolo S.r.l., FEMA Srl., VRV India Cryogenic Equipment), an Italian multinational corporation in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art pressure equipment for the chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Since June 2023 is President of E-MaticaSrl, a company for the design, development and integration of software solutions.

He is CEO of SAFE INVESTMENT HOLDING S.r.l, Board member of NB Aurora and Bracco S.p.A. He is member of the Executive Council of Confindustria and of the Board of Directors of Confindustria Lombardia. He is also board member of the General Council and Executive Commette of Fondazione Fiera and member of the General Council of Aspen Institute Italia and of The Italian Institute for International Political Studies/ISPI.
